Description:
RMG#1 invests globally, and primarily owns non cyclical larger cap companies. The fund objective is to generate returns normally attributed to growth portfolios, while investing at value multiples. The investment style is that entirely fundamental in nature, and adopts a low turnover approach. RMG#1 is benchmarked to public mutual fund peers TWWDX,ABIYX,DODGX,DODFX,ANCFX,FCNTX,BLUEX,UMBWX,TGVAX,HAINX,CGMFX,OSMAX,PRMSX,NTKLX and SAHMX. At the time of purchase, securities will typically carry inadequate, inaccurate or limited investment coverage. These bargains exist due to entrenched structural inefficiencies in global research models. Industry experience leads me to believe that such inefficiencies exist at both buy & sell side investment firms. Preferred sectors for investment will feature "competition limiting" barriers to entry. Companies evaluated for purchase will have strong balance sheets and sell for low forward EV/EBITDA. A selection of my global investment ideas may be found here. http://www.stockhouse.com/blogs.asp?page=viewblog&blogid=129
