| HOW
THE MANAGER INVESTS |
| WHAT
IS YOUR INVESTING STRATEGY? (GROWTH, VALUE, TECHNICAL ANALYSIS, ETC.) |
|
answer --> |
main focus on small, micro and midcaps.
detailed fundamental analysis of the company.
main strategy looks vor value in forward P/E related to growth.
going into cash and high value stocks (high book value and net tangbiles, low debt) when markets are weakening.
adding some long term growth stories and some short term momentum plays.
i like sectors where earnings are well predictable.
no commodity/energy related stocks.
no pure technical plays.
no otc stocks.
update 10/2009: due to a lack of reasonable valued companies the fund maintained a cautions approach over the last quarter. which means that i´ve been holding the maximum cash position and did a lot of hedging. until valuations change (either by better earnings or a recution in stock prices) preserving capital trumps performance. since i prefer sitting out a major part of this liquidity driven rallye i fully expect short term underperformance against the major indexes.
