HOW THE MANAGER INVESTS
WHAT IS YOUR INVESTING STRATEGY? (GROWTH, VALUE, TECHNICAL ANALYSIS, ETC.)
answer --> Disciplined strategies based on a combination of company fundamentals, performance as well as near term technical analysis.
HOW DO YOU SELECT NEW COMPANIES FOR YOUR FUNDS?
answer --> I employ a disciplined and programatic strategy approach based on various particilar criteria in each specific strategy. The key for me is rigid discipline. Once the strategy is established, the selection process is automatic as is the pre-established exit criteria. There is no subjectivity involved in the process once the strategy and exit criteria are set. This enables me to truely evaluate fund performance and refine strategies for improved performance relative to market conditions and for future use in new strategy development.
HOW DO YOU DECIDE TO REMOVE A STOCK FROM YOUR FUNDS?
answer --> Establishing exit criteria is an integral part of the fund strategy. Exits are typically triggered based on a dynamic formulation of the stock value/share. This involves a combination of fundamental and technical performance criteria. Individuals trading the fund may employ their own additional criteria such as dynamic trailing stops.
