HOW THE MANAGER INVESTS
WHAT IS YOUR INVESTING STRATEGY? (GROWTH, VALUE, TECHNICAL ANALYSIS, ETC.)
answer --> I believe the answer lies in what has historically worked over the long term. Investing is a tough business, as evidenced by the fact so very few investors can beat the S&P500. Previously my approach was akin to reinventing the wheel. Now I am focused on pefecting the design of the wheel - how the winning elements of investing are put together - to make the financial wheel as strong and efficent as it can be made. I am a growth investor, AND a value investor, AND I use techincal analysis. In fact, show me something that works in the stock market, and I'll find a way to use it my portfolios, because I am convinced 2 succesful stock market elements are more powerful than 1; 10 more powerful yet.
HOW DO YOU SELECT NEW COMPANIES FOR YOUR FUNDS?
answer --> I use a quantitative screening process to higlight the best investment opportunities, then I run them through some techincal filters, and then I buy. The system is all mechanical really.
HOW DO YOU DECIDE TO REMOVE A STOCK FROM YOUR FUNDS?
answer --> My system tells me that, too, and with very good reason, since 'when to sell' is more important than 'when to buy.'
