My opinion is based on MVL outstanding Q3 results and solid Q4 guidance. Marvel expects fourth-quarter earnings to come in at a range of 10 cents to 16 cents a share. The average Wall Street projection is 13 cents a share, according to Reuters Research.
I think MVL shares will continue to be strong and there's a room for another upside move.
ASCOD Fund Holding MVL: Portion 3.58% Stock Return 131.33%
I would be suprised if this falls below 27 and I think it may trade sidewards to upwards for the next month. I still maintain my 35 - 40 dollar target by year end.
MVL certainly looks interesting as a buy for the early fall.
If this putrid market can stop punching itself in the kidneys and sit down for a properly balanced meal in the ever so typical fall rally thing then MVL should really kick the roof off as it anticipates the biggest spider man movie of the series.
Ghost rider could make up well for the daredevil and hulk fiascos. nic cage starring should help with star power.
FF which has been revamped to mirror the comic book more should also make up for the previous offense of the first film.
The company is in some dissaray as Avi has bolted.
There is certainly a buyout possibility as it would be attractive for an experienced media company to own all the rights.
They are doing a few weirdo things on the inside as far as buying shares. Not sure what to make of all this but one thing remains. Strong pipeline for 2007.
