China Natural Resources, Inc. (CHNR) is at risk of being delisted by NASDAQ which charges the company violated Marketplace Rule 4340(a), reverse merger, after its acquisition of Feishang Mining Holdings Limited. CHNR is appealing and has re-submitted application for continued listing.

The stock has been beneficial to one of my Mfunds where it returned 100%+ capital appreciation after which I sold one-half of holdings. The remaining shares currently are at 127.60% return. The steep uptrend of this stock was interrupted by the news of potential delisting by NASDAQ.

What usually happens to stocks after delisting? How does delisting affect the stock price? Does the market place much weight on delisting and ignore the underlying business; its potential market and profitability?

delisting is the "kiss of death" and will last for approx. 2 mos. after re-listing if everything is covered in their filings. good luck

I made great gains in CHNR over a year ago. I'm considering repurchase for long term hold due to potential internal growth and the growth of the Chinese economy. What do you think?
