I've been trying to put together a sector fund that's all infotech, and all value style.
In screening for stocks to buy, I've come across a couple that give me error messages on Marketocracy, saying they are "unknown stocks".
When you come across one of these, the first thing to do is to pop off an e-mail to Chris at help@marketocracy.com , since he's just itching for more work to do... ;) Seriously, he can get the ball rolling towards getting them added.
Second, I think it'd be a good idea if we posted them here, so we have a central place to track them.
I sent Chris a notice about one yesterday, but its ticker has slipped my mind. I just found another, though: Intersections Inc (INTX).

I just got a reply from Chris, INTX and NETL (that's the one that'd slipped my mind) should be added to the database tomorrow.
PCFG.OB is another stock I've kept an eye on since I saw their CEO's presentation at the money show in Atlantic City last August. At the time, they were trading at ~35 cents and were planning another offering of oooodles of shares, so I wasn't interested at that time...
Lately, though, they've gone through the roof. Here's part of Chris' reply on it:
...<<We will add new stocks to the database only if a) they trade above a $1.00/share b) they have an average daily volume greater than 25,000 shares c) we can get adequate data for them.
It only just recently rose above $1.00/share and it just barely meets the volume requirements. Check back in a month -- if it's mostly traded above a $1.00 for the month, and we can get adequate data, I'll add it.>>...
So, there ya go. |
