What are the criteria for listing on Marketocracy? The reason I ask is that apparently some shareholder must have applied for the listing of Blue Earth Refineries for trading in the United States. It has a symbol of BUERF. It appears to have been traded for the last three days. It is listed in our sheets as 517815Z. It was a foreign spin-off of MFC Bancorp (MXBIF).
Since the top quartile seem to hold a lot of MXBIF, this may be a substanitive adjustment overall. Additionally, they plan to distribute an annual cash dividend every September.
As it is being traded on the pinks I didn't know if it would make it into your feed. The reason I noticed it was that I had a strange ticker in my Ameritrade portfolio.
I do find it disconcerting that there is so much volume for such a minor security. My fear is that it will be a manipulated penny stock. I think I was happier when it was not traded. This really isn't a stock for the general public. It is fine as a spin-off or as a private firm, but it is way too small and too risky for the mom and pops out there.

tchotki -- We will add new stocks to the database only if a) they trade above a $1.00/share b) they have an average daily volume greater than 25,000 shares c) we can get adequate data for them.
With respect to Blue Earth Refineries, it's a strange stock, and we're still working on applying the spinoff. |

Trizec Properties Inc (NYSE:TRZ)

I wrote to the help@M. in August last year and the stock wasn't added. The price is up 19.6%, + about 3% of dividend. May be it is possible to add it now?
